Want some joy these school holidays!? \nThis family event by Play Naturally OT is delivered by an occupational therapist and welcomes children and adults of all ages. Join us for a playful and relaxed adventure in the beautiful Belair National Park! \nYou will be guided through sensory nature connection activities to help you connect with nature and each other\, to calm your busy minds and have some fun! You will meet trees\, notice the wonder of nature and find treasures you may have never noticed before! It is an opportunity to engage your senses – including listening\, touching\, smelling\, tasting and seeing as we allow ourselves to just ‘be’ in nature. \nNature connection supports the development of sensory awareness\, physical skills\, emotional regulation\, connecting with others in a group\, and environmental awareness – amongst other benefits. All of these can support our ability to do the things we need to do\, want to do and have to do every day. The experience will be tailored to the needs of the group where possible. \nIn a world where people of all ages are increasingly disconnected from nature\, a deliberate nature-based experience such as this can help us access the health and wellbeing benefits of nature for ourselves and for the planet – while having fun! \nAll children need to attend with an adult who will need to be responsible for their supervision and safety in nature – this is not a child-only event. This event is open to children and families of all abilities\, please contact Prue at Play Naturally OT with questions on accessibility. \nDetailed meeting point and directions will be sent by email or text in the days prior. \nWe can’t wait to play in nature with you soon!! \n  \n*minimum numbers required \n*more than 3 kids – no worries – just ask re price!
